  • Founded in 1759, the British Museum houses over 2 million years of history under one big roof.

  • There are also free daily 30 minute eye opener tours at the relevant gallery

  • Wheeled cases and large items of luggage are not allowed on British Museum premises. Storage for luggage is available at major rail stations, including Euston, King’s Cross and Charing Cross.
